Tell me about a time when the needs and scope of a project changed dramatically: how did you react and what was the outcome of the project?
“The candidate must be able to set an example and guide you through the campaign from start to finish. They should discuss qualitative and quantitative results and their importance to success. It is a good sign if the candidate is satisfied with his accomplishment.
Describe the most successful campaign you have ever run. What made it successful and what role did you play?
I really believe that some marketers focus too much on content and a continuous flow of material rather than results. That’s all I want for my marketing manager: results. And this can be tracked through data and analytics available online.
What tactic have you used to dramatically increase the number of leads?
“The candidate must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and be able to balance their own feelings with those of people in leadership positions. Effective communication requires emotional moderation. Moreover, creativity is a fundamental component of effective marketing; the candidate must be able to conceive creative ideas that support marketing objectives.

“I try to understand the candidate’s marketing acumen, decision-making, collaboration and leadership skills. You should include questions about whether the candidate has taken the time to research the company and become familiar with its marketing goals and objectives. The idea is to determine whether or not the candidate is ready to take on a leadership role in overseeing critical marketing campaigns and delivering the best possible results.
